Transition to digital NOTAM improves accuracy and accessibility for flight operations.

As part of its AIS-to-AIM transition plan, the ANSP has officially launched a fully digital NOTAM platform, enhancing the accuracy, format, and dissemination of aeronautical information. The system supports both legacy and digital formats, ensuring interoperability with airline systems and third-party platforms.
“The implementation of digital NOTAM is a critical enabler of global AIM initiatives and directly supports ICAO’s Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP),” said the Head of AIS. The platform reduces manual input errors, enables graphical NOTAM viewing, and integrates seamlessly with AIP and charting services. Training for airline dispatchers and other stakeholders is underway to ensure a smooth adoption.
